The Minnco Credit Union Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization was established by Minnco Credit Union in 2017, to support financial education in our schools and charitable initiatives in our communities.
The Minnco Foundation supports financial literacy and charitable initiatives in our communities.
Minnco has sponsored an online financial education program in partnership with Banzai in our high schools for the last four years at no cost to the schools. We have sponsored seven schools and reached over 1300 students. We have also given many presentations on financial education at many of our local schools and colleges. The Foundation will continue to help support our schools and teachers with Financial Education and funds for students and teachers.
In 2021, the Foundation sponsored an online and workbook based financial education program in six high schools. The sponsorship was formed through a partnership with Banzai using their curriculum. The areas covered in the program include savings, budgeting, credit scores, financing higher education, renting vs. owning, unexpected expenses and more. The Foundation reached over 304 students at 6 schools with Banzai in the 2021 school year. The high schools sponsored are:
In March 2021, the Foundation and the credit union partnered to raise money and food for local food shelves. The Foundation raised over $27,000 for local food shelves.

In order to support our mission, we rely on the generous donations from our members along with our community and business partners. There are many ways you can help support our Foundation including participating in our fundraisers or by using NetGiver to donate directly to the Minnco Foundation. 100% of your donation will go to the Foundation and you can also support our non-profit partners at the same time.
