The Minnco Credit Union Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization was established by Minnco Credit Union in 2017, to support financial education in our schools and charitable initiatives in our communities.

Mission Statement
The Minnco Foundation supports financial literacy and charitable initiatives in our communities.

In order to support our mission, we rely on the generous donations from our members along with our community and business partners. There are many ways you can help support our Foundation including participating in our fundraisers or by using NetGiver to donate directly to the Minnco Foundation. 100% of your donation will go to the Foundation and you can also support our non-profit partners at the same time. Your donations may be tax deductible, please contact your tax advisor.

Minnco Foundation Golf Event
Our 2020 golf event was held on Wednesday, September 16 at Majestic Oaks Golf Club. We had great support of our event as we followed the recommendations from the CDC and the State of Minnesota guidelines regarding Covid-19. Thank you to all the sponsors and participants of our 2020 Minnco Foundation Golf Event. We raised over $20,000 this past year.

The 2021 golf event is scheduled for June at Majestic Oaks Golf Club. We look forward to having you join us for the day as we get together to play golf, socialize, and have fun!

Minnco Foundation Hearts Campaign
Every year the Minnco Foundation in partnership with Minnco Credit Union hosts our annual hearts campaign, raising funds for the Children's Miracle Network (CMN) through Credit Union for Kids. In 2020, through the generous support of our members and local businesses we raised $24,383 and 100% of the proceeds were given to CMN. Minnco has raised $234,986 since 2003.

Due to Covid-19, we will not be hosting our annual Hearts Campaign in 2021. We look forward to hosting the campaign again in February 2022!

Financial Literacy
Minnco has sponsored an online financial education program in partnership with Banzai in our high schools for the last four years at no cost to the schools. We have sponsored seven schools and reached over 1300 students. We have also given many presentations on financial education at many of our local schools and colleges. The Foundation will continue to help support our schools and teachers with Financial Education and funds for students and teachers.
